Overview
The UC1524A family of regulating PWM ICs is designed to be fully interchangeable with the standard UC1524 family, offering substantial improvements to many of its limitations.
Key Features
The UC1524A includes a precise 5V reference trimmed to +1% accuracy, an error amplifier with an input range that includes 5V, a current sense amplifier, and a pair of 60V, 20OmA uncommitted transistor switches.
Additional features include an under-voltage lockout circuit, a PWM latch to ensure single period pulses, double pulse suppression logic, and automatic thermal protection.
The oscillator circuit is usable beyond 500kHz and is easier to synchronize with an external clock pulse.
