Recall Campaign Overview
Ferrari has initiated a recall campaign for certain Ferrari Roma models manufactured between 2021 and 2022, with VIN numbers ranging from 257415 to 282526.
The recall is due to a brake fluid reservoir cap that may not vent properly, potentially leading to a vacuum inside the brake fluid reservoir, which can cause brake fluid leakage and partial or total loss of braking capability.
Remedy
Ferrari will repair the vehicles free of charge by replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and, for some models, updating the Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software.
Ferrari will also provide a supplementary adhesive leaflet to update the description of the “Low Brake Fluid Level” warning light in the Owner’s Manual.
