Important Service Information
The 2019 INFINITI QX50 may store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P11AB if power is interrupted to the Variable Compression Ratio Control Module Circuit under certain conditions.
Causes of DTC P11AB
Power interruption while ignition is ON or up to 3 minutes after ignition is turned OFF.
Low vehicle battery voltage.
Incorrect disconnection of vehicle battery.
ECU disconnection before 12-volt battery disconnection.
If DTC P11AB is stored with other DTCs related to low voltage or connection issues, it can be erased with no further action.
