Condition

On certain Model 3 vehicles, the front stabilizer bar link ball joint studs might crack at the flange, causing the nut that attaches the stabilizer bar to lose torque, resulting in noise from the front of the vehicle while driving on rough surfaces.

Correction

Replace the front LH and RH stabilizer bar links with part numbers 1044391-00-D and 1044396-00-D, respectively.

Refer to Service Manual procedure 31012002 for detailed instructions.

Affected Vehicles

Affected Model 3 vehicles built before approximately February 15, 2018.
