Important Safety Instructions
Read all instructions before using the refrigerator. Do not refreeze frozen foods that have thawed completely. Always exercise basic safety precautions, including proper installation and grounding of the appliance.
Grounding Requirements
The refrigerator must be properly grounded to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard. Use a three-prong grounding plug and ensure the wall outlet is properly grounded.
Starting the Refrigerator
Install the refrigerator on a floor strong enough to support it when fully loaded. Do not install it where the temperature will go below 60°F. Allow clearances for ease of installation, proper air circulation, and plumbing and electrical connections.
Use the Power Miser Switch to reduce the amount of electricity required to operate the refrigerator. Set the Fresh Food control at 5 and the Freezer control at C. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
