Daily Pre-Use Inspection Checklist
This checklist is designed to ensure the safe and proper operation of the Kubota tractor.
Visual Inspection Items
The checklist includes a range of items to be inspected daily, including:
- Hour meter reading
- Loose bolts, trash build-up, oil or coolant leaks, and broken/worn parts
- Engine oil level
- Transmission fluid level
- Coolant level
- Grill and radiator screen
- Oil cooler (HST model)
- Diesel particulate filter muffler
- Air cleaner dust indicator (when used in a dusty place)
- Brake pedal (HST model)
- Brake and clutch pedal (GST /Manual Transmission model)
- Indicators, gauges, and meter
- Lights
- Seat belt and ROPS
- Movable parts
- Amount of fuel
- Danger, warning, and caution labels
- Clean air conditioner condenser screen
Operators are required to mark “v” if the condition is good and “x” if action is needed.
A copy of the checklist should be given to the supervisor if any item is damaged or not working properly, with notes made in the comments section.
