Product Specifications
The Trane Touchscreen Thermostat TCONT302 and 303 are programmable thermostats with 5″ diagonal, blue backlit, touchscreen displays.
The 303 features a built-in humidity sensor that may be used to control whole house humidifier (HM) and cooling dehumidification (DHM).
Installation
The 302 and 303 are designed for installation in climate-controlled living spaces, with good circulation and away from heat radiated from lamps, sunlight, fireplaces, or other radiant heat sources.
Mount the control on a section of interior wall that does not contain hot or cold water pipes or ductwork.
Battery and Power
Two “AA” alkaline batteries are included in the thermostat at the factory, and should be replaced with premium brand batteries for best results.
The power stealing switch is set to OFF, but placing the switch in the ON position may extend battery life.
