These controllers offer pin-for-pin compatibility with the UC3846 series, with improvements including minimized input to output delays, a slew rate limited current sense output, and fast 1.5A peak output stages.
They also feature an improved current sense amplifier with reduced noise sensitivity, a low impedance TTL compatible sync output, and a trimmed oscillator discharge current for accurate deadband control.
