These resistors perform like conventional chip resistors under normal conditions but fuse when subjected to overloads, providing a low-cost approach to circuit protection.
Standard tolerance is ±5%, with options for ±10% and ±2% available. Customized fusing time and power level options are also available.
Applications
The FC Series is suitable for surface mount circuit protection in case of overload or component failure, with a range of wattage ratings from 10W to 1.0W and voltage ranges from 50V to 400V.
