Introduction

This manual explains how to connect Maserati and Alfa Romeo cars to AiM devices.

Supported Models and Years

The supported models are Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo, and Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, with model years ranging from 2007 to 2012.

CAN Connection

The cars feature a bus communication protocol based on CAN, accessible through the OBDII plug located left of the steering wheel on Maserati cars or under the steering column on Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.

The OBDII connector pinout is provided, with details on CAN High and CAN Low connections.

AiM Device Configuration

Before connecting the ECU to AiM device, set up the AiM Race Studio software with the ECU manufacturer as “Maserati” and ECU Model as “QuattroPorte_GT (From 2007)”.

Available Channels

The channels received by AiM devices connected to the “Maserati” “QuattroPorte_GT (from 2007)” protocol include RPM, gas pedal position sensor, throttle position sensor, engine cooling temperature, and more.
