Intended Use
The DWP849 and DWP849X heavy-duty polishers are designed for polishing painted or unfinished metal, fiberglass, and composite surfaces in professional applications.
They are not recommended for use in the presence of flammable liquids or gases, and supervision is required when inexperienced operators use this tool.
Components and Operation
The tools feature a variable speed trigger switch, speed control wheel, and spindle lock button.
Polishing pads with a diameter of 6″ or 9″ can be used with the DWP849 and DWP849X.
Regular maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication, is necessary to ensure continuous satisfactory operation.
