Setting Up and Using the Philips HeartStart Defibrillator
The Philips HeartStart Onsite and Home devices are easy to set up and use. Simply open the carry case, lift out the defibrillator, and follow the instructions on the card. The device will perform an automatic self-test, and once complete, it will be ready for use.
Daily Self-Test and Maintenance
The Philips HeartStart devices perform a daily self-test and alert the user if any issues are detected. The device also runs a pads self-test each time a new pads cartridge is inserted.
The device requires minimal maintenance, with no user-serviceable parts and no need for manual calibration.
