Introduction
The Accu-Chek Insight Rapid infusion set is designed for subcutaneous infusion of insulin with the Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump.
Attaching the Infusion Set
Before attaching the infusion set, adjust the fill amount for the transfer set and head set on the insulin pump according to the fill amounts table. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly, then connect the infusion set pieces together.
Perform a cartridge change as described in your pump user manual, ensuring the adapter of the transfer set is connected to the cartridge in the pump. Fill the complete infusion set (transfer set and head set) as described until bubble-free insulin drips from the cannula.
Important Safety Information
Do not connect the infusion set to the body yet The set must be completely filled and not contain any air bubbles to prevent the risk of under-delivery of insulin.
