Overview
This datasheet describes the SN5409, SN54LS09, SN54S09, SN7409, SN74LS09, and SN74S09 quadruple 2-input positive-AND gates with open-collector outputs.
Features
These devices contain four independent 2-input AND gates with open-collector outputs, which require pull-up resistors to function correctly. They can be connected to other open-collector outputs to implement active-low wired-OR or active-high wired-AND functions.
Applications
These devices are often used to generate higher VOH levels and are characterized for operation over a wide temperature range (-55°C to 125°C for the SN5409, SN54LS09, and SN54S09, and 0°C to 70°C for the SN7409, SN74LS09, and SN74S09).
