Overview
The KASxO3xx-SERIES is a family of Fairchild Power Switch (FPS) products designed for off-line Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external components.
Key Features
The FPS product family consists of a high voltage power SenseFET and a current mode PWM IC, integrating a fixed frequency oscillator, under voltage lock-out, leading edge blanking, optimized gate turn-on/turn-off driver, thermal shutdown protection, and over voltage protection.
The series offers precision fixed operating frequency (100/67/50kHz), low start-up current (typ. 100uA), pulse by pulse current limiting, over current protection, and internal thermal shutdown function.
Applications
The KASxO3xx-SERIES is suitable for SMPS applications in VCR, SVR, STB, DVD, DVCD, printers, facsimile, scanners, and camcorder adapters.
