  • Endurance test: After 2000 hours at 85°C with rated voltage applied, capacitors should meet characteristic requirements. Additional endurance testing is specified at 125°C.
  • Shear test: Where a pressure load is applied horizontally after the capacitor is soldered onto a substrate, no exfoliation or sign of damage should appear at the terminal electrode.

Marking and Physical Dimensions

The capacitors are marked with information such as case code, rated voltage, rated capacitance, leakage current, dissipation factor, ESR, and part number. Specific case sizes like 3520.2, 2410.1, and others are noted with corresponding tolerances.

Standard Ratings and Part Numbering
