The UltraMOVTM Metal Oxide Varistor Series is built for applications demanding high peak surge current ratings coupled with substantial energy absorption capabilities. These varistors are specifically designed for AC Line Voltage applications, such as Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors (TVSS), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), AC Power Taps, and AC Power Meters, providing vital protection against high transient surge currents that can emanate from lightning strikes, inductive or capacitor bank switching. They are available in radial lead package sizes of 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm with varied lead forms.
