Distinctive Features

The Q8 series features panel mount LED indicators with options of a 5 mm colored diffused epoxy lens or 5 mm water clear super bright LEDs. These LEDs are available with different bezel styles such as prominent, recessed, and flush. They come with various terminal options including (2.8 x 0.8) solder lug/faston terminals, pins, or (200 mm long) wire terminations. For tri-color versions, the terminals available are (2.0 x 0.5) solder lug/faston terminals.

Environmental Specifications

The Q8 series offers an IP67 sealing option, conforming to EN60529 standards. These LED indicators are designed to withstand a range of temperatures, with the rear plastic body enduring -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to +149°F) and the rear epoxy body capable of withstanding -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F).

General Specifications

These LED indicators are built to last with a life expectancy of 100,000 hours and feature a max reverse voltage of 5 V. The viewing angle varies from 30 to 100 degrees, depending on the model. For installation, the maximum recommended panel thickness is 7 mm, and the indicators offer a high insulation resistance of 4,000 MΩ at 500 VDC. The specified torque for these indicators is 20 to 25 cNm.

Materials

The LED indicators are assembled with quality materials including plated brass bezels available in finishes like bright chrome, black, or satin grey. The rear body is constructed with molded polycarbonate. Additionally, a Stainless Steel 316L bezel is provided for the flush version only.

Mounting

The Q8 series offers a simplified mounting solution with detailed specifications provided for the mounting hole dimensions and tolerances. These specifications ensure compatibility and ease of installation for the LED indicators.
