The ATC 600L Series Capacitors are engineered to provide ultra-low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and high quality factor (Q), making them ideal for RF and microwave applications. These capacitors are notable for their remarkable ESR values, which are the lowest in their class, as well as for having the highest working voltage in their class at a standard rate of 200V. The series includes capacitors in EIA sizes 0402, 0603, and 0805, ensuring compatibility with various circuit designs.

The capacitors are suitable for a broad range of applications, including cellular base stations, subscriber-based wireless devices, broadband wireless services, WiFi, satellite communications, and WiMAX. Additionally, their temperature coefficient of capacitance (TCC) holds a tight range of 0 ± 30 ppm/°C.

Mechanically, the capacitors feature terminations tin-plated over a nickel barrier as standard, with options for non-magnetic barriers or tin/lead solder plating. Terminal strength is robust, supporting approximately 1 to 2 pounds. Furthermore, these components demonstrate excellent environmental durability, meeting strict standards like MIL-STD-202 for moisture resistance and surviving thermal shock as well as life test conditions set at 2000 hours at +125°C and twice the rated working voltage (WVDC).

Compliance and Quality

From a compliance standpoint, the capacitors meet or exceed the standards of EIA-198, MIL-PRF-55681, and MIL-PRF-123. They do not exhibit piezoelectric effects, do not undergo aging-related degradation, and are built to withstand dielectric voltages of 2.5 times the rated WVDC for up to 5 seconds. They also feature an insulation resistance minimum of 10^5 MΩ at +25°C (1^4 MΩ min. at +125°C). It is important to note that the series is ROHS compliant.
