Environmental Tests and Reliability
These capacitors have been designed and manufactured to not just meet, but exceed the standards of EIA-198, MIL-PRF-55681, and MIL-PRF-123. They perform reliably within the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C without any derating of working voltage required. The capacitors also withstand a slew of environmental tests including thermal shock as per MIL-STD-202, Method 107, Condition A and moisture resistance according to MIL-STD-202, Method 106.
In terms of durability, the termination style is RoHS Compliant with a solder plate, and terminates designed for the chips can endure a pull of 5 lbs. minimum and 10 lbs. typically for 5 seconds. Finally, the life test adheres to MIL-STD-202, Method 108, for 2000 hours at 125°C with 200% WVDC applied.
