Specifications
The HVGW connector is equipped to handle a current rating of 135 A DC continuous and a voltage rating of 300 V DC continuous. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The insulation resistance is rated at a minimum of 100 MΩ, with a withstanding voltage of 1,600 VAC / minute. The system is compliant with ELV and RoHS directives. Components such as terminals, cable seals, and ferrules within the connector system are designed for compatibility with Champlain shielded battery cables (Champlain pin: 15-07603-001 or equivalent).
Product Components and Materials
The core terminal is constructed from a copper alloy and is silver-plated with an anti-tarnish treatment, ensuring durability and reliable electrical connectivity. This is complemented by the reinforcement made from stainless steel. For effective insulation, the system employs silicone green cable seals.
Regarding wire compatibility, the system’s connector is adapted for a range from 12.44 mm² conductor size to 21.5 mm insulation O.D. Additionally, the inner and outer ferrules are made from tin-plated copper alloy, ensuring strong electrical conduction and longevity.
