Purpose and Summary of Test

This report presents the results of a 56.3 km/h frontal barrier impact test conducted on a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck Beast 4-Door Truck.

The test was performed at Applus+ IDIADA KARCO Engineering, LLC. on December 18, 2024, and was sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) under contract number 693JJ919D000004.

Test Objectives

The purpose of this test was to obtain vehicle crashworthiness and occupant restraint system performance data for consumer information purposes.

Test Procedure

The test was conducted in accordance with the Office of Crashworthiness Standards Laboratory Procedure dated May 2018 for NCAP Full Frontal Rigid Barrier Impact Testing.

The impact velocity of the vehicle was 56.12 km/h, and the ambient temperature at the barrier face at the time of impact was 17.8°C.
