Safety Recall
The fuel pump motor impeller may swell, causing the fuel pump to seize and stop working. This can result in the engine not starting or stalling while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Affected Vehicles
2018-19 Acura NSX models with all trim levels are affected.
Corrective Action
The fuel tank unit (fuel pump module) needs to be replaced. This repair is only for the fuel tank unit (driver’s side) and does not include the secondary fuel gauge sending unit (passenger’s side).
