Introduction
This manual provides installation instructions for the Whipple FRPP Supercharger Kit designed for the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L 24 Valve engine.
Kit Components and Pre-Installation Checklist
The kit includes a supercharger, oil, and other components. Before installation, ensure all components are present and undamaged, and complete the Pre-Installation Checklist, which includes verifying the condition of the vehicle, fuel octane, fuel level, cleanliness of the installation area, and reading the Illustrated Installation Guide.
Important Notes
CAUTION: Failure to complete the Pre-Installation Checklist may result in severe engine damage. Use only 91-octane fuel or higher, and ensure the engine runs smoothly and the factory malfunction indicator light (MIL) is off before installation.
WARNING: Do not attempt to start the engine before adding the supplied Supercharger Oil to the supercharger.
