Important Safety Instructions

Follow all steps to ensure proper function of the CURT brake control harness.

Installation Steps

Locate the black electrical junction box under the dash, to the left of the steering column.

Insert the connector on the CURT brake control harness into the vehicle connection point.

Verify battery power (+) supplied to the brake control harness.

Route wires as directed in the brake control wiring kit installation instructions if necessary.

Secure the brake control harness with cable ties, avoiding pinch points.

Complete the installation using the brake control instructions and perform test procedures as instructed in the brake control user manual.
