Installation Warning and Precautions
Dealer installation is recommended. Install the splash guards when the ambient temperature is above 60°F (15°C). Do not wash or expose the vehicle to a wet environment for 24 hours after installing the splash guards.
Tools Required
The installation procedure requires a Phillips head short screwdriver, drill, awl or center punch, scissors, masking tape, clean cloth, mild soap water mixture, and 90% or greater alcohol.
Installation Procedure
The installation procedure involves jacking up the vehicle, cutting and aligning templates, removing screws, drilling holes, and installing spring nuts. The procedure is detailed in the manual and includes figures and instructions for each step.
