Hyundai Technical Service Bulletin: 22-AT-007H – TCU SOFTWARE UPDATE AND DUAL CLUTCH REPLACEMENT (2016-2021MY Tucson, Sonata, and Kona 1.6L Turbo)

Subject: TCU Software Update and Dual Clutch Replacement

This bulletin applies to certain vehicles equipped with 7-speed Double Clutch Transmissions (DCT) that may exhibit abnormal vibration at low speeds.

The affected vehicles include: 2016-2018MY Tucson (TL) 1.6L Turbo, 2015-2019MY Sonata (LFa) 1.6L Turbo, and 2018-2021MY Kona (OS) 1.6L Turbo.

The bulletin outlines the procedures for diagnosing clutch judder, updating the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) with revised logic, and/or replacing the Double Clutch.
