Overview
The 2022 Chrysler 300 is a rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) E-segment sedan with a longitudinal front engine and a unitized steel body and aluminum hood.
Engine
The 300 comes with two engine options: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine and a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with Fuel Saver Technology.
Transmission
The transmission options include the TorqueFlite 8HP50 eight-speed automatic transmission and the TorqueFlite 8HP70 eight-speed automatic transmission.
Suspension and Steering
The suspension is an independent SLA with high upper “A” arm, lateral and diagonal lower links, and coil spring over gas-charged monotube shock absorbers. The steering is an electric power steering (EPS) with multi-mode assist.
