The KIA Niro EV is an electric vehicle that requires special care and caution when responding to emergency scenarios. Exercise extreme caution to avoid contact with the high voltage system within the vehicle.
Identifying a KIA Niro EV
The Niro EV can be identified by the “Eco electric” logo on the tailgate and front charge port door on the driver’s side. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) also identifies an electric car with a “G” or “H” in the 8th position.
Note: Always use additional methods of identification before determining that the vehicle is not an electric car.
