Introduction
Some 2016-2022 model year GX 460 vehicles may exhibit a thump sound or a bump feeling when accelerating from or decelerating to a stop.
This condition does not set any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or illuminate any warning messages on the dash and is typically more noticeable in below freezing temperatures.
Repair Procedure
Confirm the condition exists by checking if the vehicle exhibits a thump sound or a bump felt when accelerating from or decelerating to a stop.
If yes, remove the rear propeller shaft assembly and install the NEW rear propeller shaft assembly.
