Overview
This datasheet describes the metallized polyester capacitors 5150 MKT capacitors with epoxy coating.
Construction and Characteristics
The capacitors have a stacked layer construction with a self-healing characteristic, using polyester as the dielectric and epoxy resin dipped radial tinned copper leads.
They are available in various sizes, with rated capacitances ranging from 0.47 pF to 4.7 uF, and rated voltages of 100V, 250V, and 400V.
Technical Details
The capacitors meet the climatic category in accordance with DIN 40040, and have undergone damp heat testing according to DIN 40046.
They also have a maximum self-inductance of 10 nH, and a dissipation factor tg & of 1%.
The capacitors have a capacitance drift of ±3%, and an insulation resistance that varies with temperature.
