Introduction
Mazda has developed factory recommended scheduled maintenance services that support all major vehicle systems.
Scheduled Maintenance
Mazda recommends dealers follow the scheduled maintenance tables as cited in the vehicle-specific workshop manual or owner’s manual.
Services performed outside of Mazda’s factory scheduled maintenance are not recommended, as they create unneeded expenses for customers.
Important Notes
Transmission fluid flushing should only be performed when instructed by the Workshop Manual or any other Mazda publication.
Engine oil flushes are unnecessary and may damage the engine and void the warranty.
Coolant replacement starting at 100,000 miles of service is recommended on all models since 2008, except B-Truck and Tribute.
Other important guidelines include proper brake fluid and power steering fluid flushing, and using factory recommended fluids.
