Introduction
The SMARTRA stands for Smart Transponder Antenna. The SMARTRA unit contains an integrated inductive antenna and electronics around the ignition lock assembly.
The SMARTRA communicates to the engine control module via a dedicated communications line (called W-Line, or Immo-Line).
PIN Codes
PIN code stands for Product Identification Number code. The PIN code is a unique code for each vehicle and it is programmed into ECM at production line.
The vehicle PIN code can be obtained through www.PATScode.com service or through Hyundai dealer.
Supported Vehicles
The list of supported vehicles includes various models from Hyundai and Kia, with production years ranging from 2000 to 2012.
