Trailer Hitch Installation and Specifications
This manual provides instructions for installing a trailer hitch on a 1996-2002 TOYOTA 4RUNNER 2 & 4 DR. The hitch has a gross load capacity of 5,000 LBS trailer weight and 500 LBS tongue weight when used as a weight carrying hitch, and 6,000 LBS trailer weight and 600 LBS tongue weight when used as a weight distribution hitch.
Important: Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended towing capacity.
