Safety Precautions

Important safety instructions are provided to avoid electric shock, fire, and serious personal injury. Follow all safety precautions carefully.

Carry the filled water tank with two hands for stability. Use indoors only and do not operate outdoors. Always have water in the water tank when operating.

Tighten the water tank cap firmly and keep the mist lid in place while operating. Place the humidifier away from children, walls, furniture, and electrical appliances.

Use a 110-120VAC outlet and plug in with dry hands. Avoid damaged cords and plugs, and position on a smooth, flat surface away from direct sunlight.

Operating Instructions

Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water (filtered or distilled recommended). Tighten the water tank cap firmly and keep the mist lid in place while operating.

Place the humidifier on an elevated surface at least 1 foot above the floor, and never on carpet or towel. Ensure proper airflow and secure the water level sensor properly.

Regular cleaning and maintenance are necessary for optimal performance. Daily tasks include turning off the unit and emptying the tank and base to prevent bacterial growth.

Troubleshooting

If you’re having issues with your humidifier, clean the water tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar and rinse with clean water. Check if the area tap water has too many minerals which might cause issues.

Try troubleshooting by checking the following parts: the mist lid, the tank, and the base. If none of the above steps work, contact Crane Customer Care.
