Safety Recall R25
This recall affects certain 2004-2011 Dodge and Chrysler models (listed below) due to a potential issue with the driver airbag inflator housing, which may rupture during airbag deployment events.
Affected Models:
Dodge RAM 1500/2500/3500 Pickup, Dodge Durango, Chrysler Aspen, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Dakota
Repair Instruction:
The driver airbag inflator must be replaced with a new one.
Important Notes:
Dealers should complete this recall service on involved vehicles before retail delivery and on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.
