Pre-Installation Checklist
Verify that all necessary hardware is present, and consider freezing the large differential bushing sleeves before installation to ease the process.
Refer to the Infiniti Factory Service Manual (FSM) for differential assembly removal procedure.
Procedure Overview
Procedure includes locating proper jacking points, raising and supporting the vehicle, and removing factory rear differential bushing.
Using a saw and pry bar, remove the factory bushing, and clean the bushing area of the subframe.
Install the rear outer sleeve, followed by the front outer sleeve, and add shims to fill any gaps.
Loosely thread in the bolts, add loctite, and tighten in a star pattern until they bottom out.
Install the large rear urethane bushing and inner sleeve, ensuring the tapered end faces forward.
