Certain 2021 Model Year Expedition and Lincoln Navigator Vehicles

This program provides a no-cost, one-time replacement of the Battery Junction Box (BJB) for 10 years or unlimited miles from the warranty start date.

Coverage and Eligibility

Vehicles covered by this program are identified in OASIS. Affected vehicles are 2021 Model Year Expedition and Lincoln Navigator Vehicles equipped with a Standard Duty Cooling Fan or Heavy Duty Cooling Fan.

This program is automatically transferred to subsequent owners. If either Safety Recall 22S36 or 22S48 is open, this program does not apply.

Service Action

Dealers are to inspect the BJB for damage, complete diagnostics for BJB-related concerns, and replace the BJB as required. Diagnostics may include no start, air conditioning inoperative, warning lights, cannot shut-off, battery drainage, trailer brakes inoperative, rear wipers inoperative, and driver seat inoperative.

This service must be performed at no charge to the vehicle owner.
