The Y Series is a line of ultra-miniature transformers designed for high-reliability applications. These transformers are manufactured to meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-27, Grade 5, Class S. They feature extreme resistance to thermal shock, ultra-miniature size, and are available with magnetic shields.
The transformers have split windings, allowing for primary and secondary windings to be used as either input or output. Special production techniques ensure uniform size and leads that are free of encapsulant. Additionally, every unit can be made with a 300 thermal cycle guarantee using PICO’s special SR construction.
