Voluntary Service Campaign
This campaign is for certain model year 2010-2014 Murano, 2011-2014 Murano CrossCabriolet, and 2011-2015 Quest vehicles.
The purpose of this campaign is to remove the DOT 3 brake fluid, add DOT 4 brake fluid, and inspect the ABS actuator.
Dealer Responsibility
Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within the range of this campaign that enter the service department.
This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer’s inventory.
A detailed service procedure is provided, including draining DOT 3 brake fluid, flushing the Antilock Brake System Actuator with DOT 4 brake fluid, and checking the Antilock Brake System Actuator Valve.
