Some 2023 model year vehicles may exhibit certain conditions, such as head unit rebooting, display screen frozen/non-responsive, and incorrect HD radio icon color.
A software update is available to address these conditions.
Warranty Information
The repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty for 36 months or 36,000 miles (USA) or 36 months or 60,000 kilometers (Mexico), whichever occurs first.
Software Update Procedure
The update procedure involves turning the ignition off, disconnecting the cable from the 12V battery negative terminal, and then reconnecting it. The head unit should boot up normally after the update.
Select the gear icon, scroll down, select Software update, and select Model info to check the software version.
Download the software update file onto an empty USB flash drive and follow the instructions in the bulletin.
