Overview
The Type KON-11 outdoor current transformer is designed for metering and relaying applications on outdoor 15 kV circuits.
Key Features
The transformer features a toroidal core, primary and secondary windings cast in hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy (HCEP), and electro-tin plated copper primary terminals.
The unit has a removable junction box with a 1″ diameter conduit entrance and can be mounted in various positions (upright, cantilever, or upside-down) using optional accessories.
Standards and Testing
The transformer can be tested to applicable IEEE, CSA, or IEC standards, and test reports are available in various formats.
Additionally, the unit has a thermal rating of 190 times normal for one second and a mechanical rating of 270 times normal.
