Overview
RLC Electronics’ Broadband Miniature Attenuators are uniquely constructed resistive film elements combined with precision connectors, offering impedance matching and bi-directional handling over an extremely broad frequency range of DC to 18 GHz.
Specifications
The attenuators are available in standard attenuation values or custom values for specific requirements. Three combinations of connectors are available in the standard models, with options for SMA male and female, and Type N male and female.
The devices have a power rating of 2 watts avg, with derating to 0.5 watts above 259°C. The impedance is 50 Ohms, and the connectors meet the full requirements of MIL-C-39012.
The attenuators are made of stainless steel and are designed for use in MIL-A-3933 environments. Units can be supplied in reduced frequency ranges of DC to 12.4 GHz, DC to 8 GHz, and DC to 1.5 GHz.
Tolerances
Unless otherwise specified, tolerances are ±0.005 for all dimensions. The outline drawing for the attenuators is 62 dia, with dimensions varying depending on the model.
