Nissan Service Bulletin: EC16-003d NTB16-027d – 2013-2018 Sentra; MIL ON with DTC PO101

The purpose of this service bulletin is to provide a quick repair procedure to address the MIL (Mal-function Indicator Light) being on with DTC PO101 (MAF sensor circuit-B1) stored.

APPLIED VEHICLES

The bulletin applies to 2013-2018 Sentra models, specifically:

• 2013 – 2017 built before 3NIABZAP(*)J(*) 279155

RÉCUREPTIVE PROCEDURE

The procedure consists of three steps:

1. Inspect and replace the PCV valve on 2013-2014 models only
2. Clean the throttle valve and chamber of the electronic throttle control actuator on 2013-2016 models only
3. Reprogram the ECM on 2013-2018 models
