The Telekommunikations-AnschluB-Einheiten TAE is a variable connecting system for analog telecommunication systems.
Technical Data
The TAE design includes one, two, or three sockets to connect up to three different analog terminals, such as telephone, fax, or modem.
Codings make it possible to connect different terminal groups non-interchangeably to the corresponding boxes.
The mechanical characteristics of the TAE include:
- Insertion force: <45 N
- Withdrawal force: <19 N
- Operations life: 2 10.000 Stckungen
The TAE is also thermally and climatically resistant, meeting the requirements of DIN IEC 68, Part 40/070/10.
Products
The TAE is available in two main types, AP (Aufputz) and UP (Unterputz), which differ in their mounting options.
Each type comes in different short-name configurations, including:
- TAE 6 F (straight style, coding F)
- TAE 6 N (straight style, coding N)
- TAE 2×6 NF (straight style, coding NF)
- TAE 3×6 NFN (straight style, coding NFN)
The TAE is available in various sizes, including 4-way and 6-way connectors, with different cable reliefs and crimp contacts.
