Important Safety Precautions
Before using the Tempest blender, make sure to read the operation manual carefully. Follow the important safety instructions and warnings to avoid personal injury and damage to the appliance.
Operating the Blender
Plug the blender into a grounded 3-prong electrical outlet and make sure the power switch is OFF (0). Turn the blender ON (I) by pressing the Power ON (IJOFF (0) button. Adjust the timer knob to the desired run time and select the desired function (HIGH, LOW, or JUMP).
The Tempest blender is designed for blending and mixing beverages. Always use caution when blending hot contents and avoid touching moving parts. Keep your hands out of the blender container and use an oven mitt or thick towel to handle the lid. Never leave the blender unattended while it is operating.
Sanitizing the Blender
Sanitize the blender using a solution of household bleach and water. Fill the container with the solution, replace the lid and filler cap, and run the blender on LOW speed for 2 minutes. Empty the container and wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with the sanitizing solution.
