Pre-Installation
Welcome to the DLS Cruise CRPP-VO1.6 user manual. This manual provides instructions for installing the DLS speakers in your VOLVO vehicle.
Preparation
Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect the battery and secure the negative terminal to prevent any accidental connections.
Door Panel Removal
To remove the door panel, you will need to disconnect the electric window panel and remove the cover of the door panel. Use a plastic PRY tool to avoid damaging the panels or clips.
Removing Screws and Rivets
Remove the door lock knob and disconnect the door lock cable. Release the door lock cable and disconnect all cables, including the lightning and speaker cable harness.
Speaker Mounting
Mount the new DLS speakers using screws or rivets. Make sure to use the correct tools and take care not to damage the door panel or speakers.
Assembly
Once the speakers are mounted, reconnect the speaker harness and start the assembly of the door panel. Reconnect all wires and harnesses, and ensure that all connections are secure.
Important Safety Information
Remember to disconnect the battery before starting the installation, and avoid any accidental connections to the batterylpower source system.
