Introduction

This manual provides important information to help you use the iHealth Wireless Smart Gluco-Monitoring System (BGSS) properly.

Intended Use

The iHealth Wireless Smart Gluco-Monitoring System (BGSS) is intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of glucose (sugar) in fresh capillary whole blood samples drawn from the fingertip, palm, forearm, upper arm, calf or thigh.

Important Safety Instructions

Misuse of the iHealth system can cause electrocution, burns, fire, and other hazards. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid any harm.

Limitations of Use

The iHealth system is not intended for use on neonates, artery blood, serum, and plasma. Certain substances at high levels may cause significant interference, resulting in inaccurate results.

Additional Information

For over-the-counter use, do not perform alternative site testing if you think your glucose is low, or if your results do not match how you feel. Certain medications or conditions may affect the reliability of your blood glucose results.
