The warranty bulletin extends the warranty period for select 2011-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango, and other models for the 3.6L left cylinder head to 10 years or 150,000 miles. The warranty extension is to monitor and correct quality issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Eligible Vehicles
The following vehicles are eligible for the warranty extension:
- 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2), Dodge Durango (WD2), Town and Country/Caravan (RT2), Dodge Avenger (JS2), and others
- 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2), Wrangler (JK2), Dodge Durango (WD2), Town and Country Caravan (RT2), and others
- 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2), Dodge Durango (WD2), Town and Country Caravan (RT2), and others
What to Do
If you are experiencing a valve guide and valve seat wear condition, contact your dealer to have the repairs performed. You may be eligible for reimbursement if you have already paid for a repair.
