Pre-Installation Instructions
Before starting the installation of the F150 Tremor Front Half Shaft Kit, read these instructions completely. Ford Performance recommends calling the Techline at 1-800-367-3788 for any questions.
Safety Precautions
When jacking or lifting the vehicle, block all wheels remaining on the ground and set the parking brake. Warn- ing: Never get underneath a vehicle that is supported only by a jack, as it could unintentionally lower.
Jacking Points
The specified jacking points are located on the front and rear axle. Do not use the differential housing or bumpers as lift points, as this can cause damage or leaks.
Materials Required
Motorcraft High Temperature Anti-Seize lubricant, XL-2; Motorcraft Metal Brake Parts Cleaner, PM-4-A, PM-4-B; and Motorcraft SAE 75W-85 Premium synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant, XY-75W85-QL are required for the installation.
